The Animal Company was established in 2003 by Carrie McInnes and Alex Townsend.

"As horse owners ourselves, we felt there was a limited selection of high quality equine products available here in Australia. So we began looking for products that had already established a reputation of quality, effectiveness and affordability overseas."

Based in New South Wales' Southern Highlands, The Animal Company sells both by direct-order and through an increasing number of stockists throughout the country.
